Some weekends I will be posting something somewhat unrelated to Asian topics. Hey…it’s just part of what we do here at GA to keep us goofy. 
Geez…this guy is amazing! David Archuleta from Utah and only 17, performed Lennon’s Imagine with such high caliber on American Idol. To pull of a rendition on a Lennon song so great, especially this one, David Archuleta has pulled off quite a feat indeed! Imagine is just one of those songs….probably one of the greatest songs ever written, it’s a timeless piece and will surely outlive all of us. Such strong and innovative messages, Lennon truly was ahead of his time. Well enough of my rambling, if you haven’t seen David’s performance on American Idol, please check it out below. Amazing! I need to vote for this guy on American Idol.

This young man is amazing! He is not just a great singer, but is a very nice young man. His parents have alot to be proud of, and I believe he is going to make it big, regardless if he win American Idol.

I agree. He’s an amazing singer. Unfortunately his past two performances weren’t as stellar as “Imagine”. It’s quite hard to top that performance however, so I give him props. I wonder if he should have saved this song for later (like this week when they sang Lennon/McCarthy songs).

Hi, David Archuleta has an amazing voice. His voice sooth your soul. I really like it.. His gifted…This guy for sure is the man for the American Idol, nothing else….
