What’s going on out there you sexy mofos! I’m just hanging out, enjoying the flippin cold that just won’t go away! Anyways, I bet some of you guys are scratching your noggin wondering what the title means, well it’s marijuana! That’s right, such a mysterious yet a fantastic plant that’s been on government’s list of no-nos for awhile! Do you know how cannabis made on to the list? Money and greed, assisted by power!! DuPont, a company that makes most of our wood-pulp paper created this sturdy string called the nylon. When nylon came out, hemp fiber was the sturdiest in its class, and afterwards as well. Secretary of Treasury in the Hoover administration was part of this company and needed hemp fibers gone to make their maximum profit, so he made it happen by calling the plant a narcotic. Ever since then, a doobie could end you up in the holding cell, while you wait for someone to bail you out. I’m sure some of you think marijuana IS a drug and should stay illegal, and the users are nothing but a bunch of low-life potheads. I want to shine the light on marijuana that some of you might not be aware of because of the dirty reputation cannabis has received for awhile.

Let me tell you some facts about the papers made from hemp, the stems of the plant. Plain white paper we use is made from wood pulp. To get its white bleached coloring, the manufacturers add many harmful chemicals that’s let out into our environment. Hemp paper, on the other hand uses barely any, which has to be good for our planet earth, right? Another thing is that, trees we make our papers from take hundreds of years to grow to its mature form. With the rate of trees humans cut down everyday, everyone knows that these trees just can’t keep up with our demands! For cannabis to reach its mature form, it takes about 90 days, a perfect substitution. Another fun fact for it is that, wood pulp papers can be recycled up to 4 times, while hemp papers can go through recycling up to 7 times.

  2. Yeah..stick it to he Man! I hope Part II has some facts on crime. I’m pretty sure that the percentage of crimes committed while under the influence or influenced by marijuana is lower than alcohol or cigarettes, let alone any of the real narcotics being sold on the street today. I know I’ve never met an angry pothead :)
